HomePlug Resources

"I am really tempted to get a few more of these for other rooms in my house. I got them because I wanted to be able to do In-Home Streaming and not have to worry about Wi-Fi fluctuations. They have so far worked very well. I also want to be able to extend my network into my basement and Wi-Fi isn't very good down there (router is on 2nd floor)."

"I was having latency issues when I play online gaming on my Xbox One. With this powerline adapter kit, it solved that issue."

"This thing works very well. It allowed my to move my N router upstairs away from the gateway in the basement, where the internet comes into the house."

"Fast performance, easy setup, all around good product. Even when the power goes out and comes back everything stays connected."

"Easy install. Download speed more than double my previous wireless connection."

Greeting from the HomePlug President

As 2015 shapes up to be a strong year for HomePlug, we also reflect on all we have accomplished in the last year. We hosted a technology seminar at COMPUTEX in Taipei, and announced retail-readiness in China with CQC certification. Furthermore, we expanded our presence to Latin America with our first ever summit in Brazil, and met with our peers in Europe at Broadband World Forum in Amsterdam. The year was filled with development of new relationships and spreading the word of HomePlug's latest technology developments across the globe. Read our comprehensive report of 2014 activities here.

Continuing with this momentum, at the beginning of 2015, we announced HomePlug AV2 Certification as well as the availability of the first HomePlug AV2 MIMO Certified products. We also enjoyed the most successful CES in recent years this January in Las Vegas, joining a variety of members to show off the latest HomePlug products our members had to offer.

And on the low-frequency, long-range powerline side, we announced the Netricity program's very first multi-vendor interoperability event.

We look forward to working with our members throughout the rest of this year to continue to bring our latest programs to the world market.
